Purchasing Manager (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

We are looking for a high caliber, dynamic and experienced Wine Purchasing Manager to join our Fine Wine Business Division. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of wine procurement activities;
• Manage daily procurement activities including overseas and local sourcing, purchasing, price negotiations, goods receiving, inventory management and costs control
• Formulate marketing promotions and coordinate with the sales team to execute monthly promotion plans
• Manage agency brands performance, market trending, and sales analyses on a regular basis
• Work closely with internal departments in supply logistics & delivery arrangement
• Co-operate and supporting the sales team in achieving business targets
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
•  Ad hoc project management as assigned

Requirements:

• Applicants for this position MUST have wine knowledge or wine industry background
• 3 years of working experience in wine purchasing or sales
• Good knowledge  in fine wine sourcing is advantageous 
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.
•  Excellent communication, organization and negotiation skills
•  Proficient in MS Excel / Word, and the use of ERP program
• Mature, well-organized in planning and analytical
