The Beverage Manager / Head Sommelier is fully responsible for the smooth operation of the wine & beverage program of the hotel. He / she is required to drive special wine and beverage related projects across F&B outlets with following key duties.

Establish and maintain a competitive and relevant wine program in line with the culinary directions of restaurants;

Persistently maintain an exceptional high level of wine service and correct the unfulfilled elements if necessary; Serve all wine orders in a professional manner using the correct equipment and following the hotel standard procedures;

Monitor the stock of wines by introducing a proper wine management system, maintain perfect condition of storage area whilst updating wine lists with correct spelling, vintages & prices;

Provide professional development to the restaurant team and lead the teams to achieve departmental goals and exceeding guests’ satisfaction. Also support other outlets where needed in terms of wine and beverage training. Coaching in best performance of F&B colleagues when needed;

Contribute to the daily food and beverage sales through suggestive selling and promotions;

Be responsible for the procurement of wines for the hotels wine programs and work closely with procurement department;

Manage guest preference and upkeep guest satisfaction at wine service and upscale food and beverage quality; &

Perform management duties / or complete F&B assignments by the Director of Food and Beverage.
