We are the longest established Approved Programme Provider with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (“WSET®”) UK and the only one offering the whole portfolio of WSET® courses and examinations up to and including Diploma in Hong Kong plus a whole range of qualification and interest courses for wine, spirits and sake.
Job responsibilities
- Manage the Education Department and team to develop and deliver premium wines, spirits and sake education courses and programs for all AWSEC offices.
- Manage the course portfolio, course content, for both AWSEC proprietary courses and third-party course providers.
- Oversee the content and quality of tutored tastings and corporate events.
- Lead the communication with all third-party course providers.
- Formulate and manage process and procedures for all courses.
- Monitor the Quality Control system of the company on issues related to courses and tutored tastings.
- Manage Course scheduling and tutor arrangements in line with company budget and targets.
- Train and coach current and prospective educators to ensure excellent delivery of courses and client satisfaction.
- Deliver feedback from student questionnaires and provide guidance in cases of complaints or issues related to classroom performance.
- Manage all course material supplies and ensure appropriate policy and procedures are in place to ensure the smooth flow of course materials to the classroom.
- Update the syllabus, course materials/contents and communicate with required communication chain (CS Team, Sales and Marketing, Educators). Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by Senior Management.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder or equivalent.
- 5 years experience education, hospitality or tourism field.
- Experience in creating and processing wine, spirits and sake education programs.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluent Mandarin is an advantage.
- Computer literate, especially MS-Office, MS-Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
- Good Interpersonal skills, independent, organized.
- Good communication skills and ability to work to strict timelines.
- Must have a passion in wines, wine certifications holder (such as WSET) is a definite advantage.
