Job responsibilities

  1. Manage the Education Department and team to develop and deliver premium wines, spirits and sake education courses and programs for all AWSEC offices.
  2. Manage the course portfolio, course content, for both AWSEC proprietary courses and third-party course providers.
  3. Oversee the content and quality of tutored tastings and corporate events.
  4. Lead the communication with all third-party course providers.
  5. Formulate and manage process and procedures for all courses.
  6. Monitor the Quality Control system of the company on issues related to courses and tutored tastings.
  7. Manage Course scheduling and tutor arrangements in line with company budget and targets. 
  8. Train and coach current and prospective educators to ensure excellent delivery of courses and client satisfaction.
  9. Deliver feedback from student questionnaires and provide guidance in cases of complaints or issues related to classroom performance. 
  10. Manage all course material supplies and ensure appropriate policy and procedures are in place to ensure the smooth flow of course materials to the classroom.
  11. Update the syllabus, course materials/contents and communicate with required communication chain (CS Team, Sales and Marketing, Educators). Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by Senior Management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder or equivalent.
  • 5 years experience education, hospitality or tourism field.
  • Experience in creating and processing wine, spirits and sake education programs.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluent Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Computer literate, especially MS-Office, MS-Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Good Interpersonal skills, independent, organized.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work to strict timelines.
  • Must have a passion in wines, wine certifications holder (such as WSET) is a definite advantage.
