Assistant Buyer (Wine) (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

• Reports to Director;
• Manage suppliers purchases, and supporting to build long term supplier relationships;
• Providing support to ensure your category has a long term, customer led plan which drives loyalty;
• Handle purchases, goods receiving, and pricing;
• Handle daily replenishment and source for new items;
• Carry out data analysis and to draw conclusions and insights;
• Inventory and gross margin management;
• Manage all electronic data and documents with clarity and precision;
• Communicate with suppliers both local and overseas;
• Assist in marketing activities including the tastings, dinners and exhibitions;
• Promotion planning;
• Negotiation with vendors;
• Product presentation to internal staff and customers

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years working experience;
• WSET level 3 holder preferred;
• Wine industry background is necessary;
• Good communication & negotiation skills;
• Detail minded, Mature, self-motivated, well-organized;
•  Good command of both spoken & written English and Cantonese;
• Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel;
•  Must enjoy computer and paper work;
• Team Player is a must
