Wine Logistic Coordinator (6-month Contract) (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Reports to: Operations Planning & Standards Assistant Manager

This role will be required to assist to ensure sufficient wines are delivered to caterers for a consistent uplift, manage each caterer’s inventories and outport replenishment logistics related expenses in order to achieve cost effectiveness on wine control and to liaise, monitor, support and assist caterers’ compliance of airline services requirement.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor the consumption patterns, plan the delivery schedules and control the stock level of wines in caterers, in order to keep the minimum stock level while ensuring the smooth uplift of the wines for service on board
• Raise Purchasing Order (PO) to outsourced wine supplier for deliveries made to Hong Kong and outport caterers
• Follow up with outsourced supplier, commercial store and all concerned parties (freight forwarders, cargo handlers, outport cargo departments and/or shipping section) shipment delivery status and prepare customs declaration and permit application when necessary
• Lodge claims for damaged goods or missing goods to suppliers and/or cargo handlers
• Update wine list and prepare relavent order forms and documentations
• Provide support to Assistance Manager Opereations Planning & Stnadards as required

Requirements:

• Diploma or above with around 3 years working experience of which 2 years’ in airline, logistics or related industry
• Good communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer literacy e.g. MS Office
• Good command of spoken and written English. Spoken and written Chinese is preferred, and spoken of Putonghua is an advantage
• Good problem solving skill and self-motivated in a team environment
