Project Manager – Fine Wine Categories (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Job description:

• Provide professional advice on wine selection
• Provide update market information for promotion plans and discuss with marketing team for marketing tactics
• Explore new business opportunities in developing local & overseas market and customers
• Expand the supplier network in overseas (both new & old world market)
• Capable to deal with overseas buyers/factories/suppliers independently
• Participate in wine tasting events for acquiring new business/private contacts
• Handle customer enquiries and follow up sales orders as assigned
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers from samples to order details
• Manage wine import and export delivery and logistic in Hong Kong
• Work closely with marketing team for both brand development and marketing events
• Take part in initiation and negotiations of the trading terms, marketing and promotional activities
• Monitor and evaluate the actual sales performance against target
• Manage and control discount/rebate budget

Requirements:

• Holder of WSET Level 3 Certificate or above, with WSET Level 4 is definitely an advantage
• 2 years working experience in sales or F&B or wine industrial
• Familiar with wines suppliers, with existing local and overseas customers is certainly a plus
• Sound wine & spirits knowledge and familiar with western lifestyle is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English
• Good interpersonal and presentation skill
• Highly motivated, dynamic and proactive with sound planning and coordination skills
