Trade Marketing Officer – Wine Division (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

• Direct report to Trade Marketing Manager
• Assist to achieve brand targets and present channel strategies to Sales Teams
• Under the supervision and guidance of TMM, work on the price ladders, new product development, A&P and improve product mix in order to meet both expectations of brand owners and top management’s requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in consolidating information for marketing plans or distribution plan formulation
• Assist brand managers in A& P budget and review on regular basis
• Coordinate with sales team, Artwork Dept & Logistic Dept and prepare promotion proposals for specific channels
• Monitor the promotion progress against forecast
• Source and develop POSM for value-added promotions
• Review depletion, shipment and inventory controls and alert brand managers for PO replenishment when needed
• Execute and follow up the agreed A&P activities including print, magazine, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
• Explore distribution development programs related to trade and corporate customers.
• Drive to achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share within designated budgets.
• Candidate with more experience will be reckoned as a more senior role

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent – major in marketing and business is preferred  
• 2 years in marketing related industry 
• Organizationally aligned to vision, strategy and results orientation
• Excellent creative/conceptual abilities
• Analytical and logical thinker
• Able to meet short deadlines in a demanding environment; work overtime is required
• A team player for harmonizing positive relationships internally & externally
• Commercially sensible with good negotiation skills        
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese (and Mandarin)
• Strong interest and passion in wine is a must.
• Certificate holder of WSET or related is an advantage
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
