As we continue our global expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a creative, experienced and highly energetic Trade Marketing Executive to join our Hong Kong based team.  

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, developing and implementing all trade-based marketing initiatives to achieve brand objectives and sales targets within an environment of 'flawless execution'.  You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, and your ability to manage project simultaneously will be your legacy.  

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Execute the trade marketing and activation strategy to achieve best practice in category management, POS and promotional merchandising.
  • Work closely with our Asian/Chinese customers and Brand managers to develop and execute all consumer and trade based in store promotions (create POS, banners, marketing collaterals…)
  • Assist with all materials needed for events (arrange wine dinners collaterals, coordinate booth designs for fairs…)
  • Manage the annual POS budget and associated materials.
  • Manage and update the Wechat account and propose promotional campaigns
  • Communicate with local press to ensure media exposure of our prestigious wines
  • Ensure all brand endorsements are delivered to the trade in a relevant and timely manner.
  • Build brand plans per market in line with associated budget and drive execution with the sales team
  • Update and communicate the marketing activity calendar to the sales team monthly, driving an integrated approach with the sales promotion plans.
  • Work with key business managers to identify and propose trade-based activities to build wine sales.
  • Build appropriate campaigns around key trading periods and festive seasons

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a trade marketing or similar role, a background in the Wine & Spirits industry ideally or FMCG with a focus on retailers’ activation, and tertiary qualifications in marketing or similar business related discipline. Experience working in in a foreign environment and fluency in Mandarin will be highly advantageous.
