We are now recruiting for a Marketing & Trade Marketing Manager – Hong Kong to join our North East Asia Team. This role is crucial to the planning, execution, and review of all marketing & trade marketing activity in Hong Kong. 

As the Marketing & Trade Marketing Manager you will take a central role in the planning process - collaborating with brand and commercial to develop channel and customer plans that will develop and build our brands to unlock growth. 

The Marketing & Trade Marketing Manager will also work internally & externally to deliver category leading activation (from in store to out of home) will be a key focus, as well as rigorous review of budget, spend and ROI.

This role is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the planning process for the marketing activity in Hong Kong for Accolade’s portfolio of wine brands, and being the conduit between the global brand team and sales to execute with our retail partners in store (trade marketing) and out of home campaigns (marketing).
  • Planning marketing spend in the annual budgeting process, and then tracking and re-allocating spend within the fiscal (where necessary) to deliver effective marketing activities and the most effective ROI.
  • Work closely with the appointed suppliers /agencies to develop BTL & ATL activity on our core brands. 
  • Effectively support the sales team to successfully sell in new Accolade innovation or NPD by creating customer facing PowerPoint presentations (i.e. to our retailers or distributors) and support & execute creative pitching ideas (e.g. tastings, events, story-telling).
  • Supporting key customer engagement & meetings, to deepen and broaden our customer relationships across different departments. 
  • Seek, analyse, and proactively share the latest Hong Kong wine market insight as well as building awareness of category (in store ranging, feature space, competitor activity etc), working collaboratively with sales to make recommendations to drive share growth.
  • Lead PR and press events in market.

What you'll bring:

  • High levels of service, communicating effectively in both written and spoken English & Cantonese (preferred).
  • Planning, project management and organisational skills – develop templates and reports to communicate and monitor progress on key initiatives. Develop clear project briefs and manage agencies to deliver specified outcomes.
  • Building customer relationships - understanding of the needs of their customers and identify opportunities to grow the business. Translate this into action, and align with North East Asia colleagues and global brands team.
  • Insight and analysis – able to collect and shape insight into compelling customer centred selling stories. 
  • Communications and influencing – present and persuade in both written and verbal forms to internal and external stakeholders
  • Cross functional team working – work as part of a team to achieve shared team and company goals.
  • Creative problem solver - demonstrates an openness to new ideas and others perspective or views specifically from broader business and peers.
  • IT and digital skills – strong ability in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), JD Edwards (preferable).
  • Autonomy and the flexibility to execute on strategy as well as deliver excellent hands-on work, with an acute attention to detail.
