The role requires active development of on-trade and off-trade customer accounts, fostering long-term relationships to generate immediate and long-term sales. Successful candidate will be required to develop and execute sales and promotional strategies as a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling enquiries, sales follow-up, client account management, preparing proposals/presentations, prospecting for and building a pipeline of new clients. You may also be allocated some existing accounts which suit the profile of the applicant.
- Speaking engagements at wine dinners.
- Any other relevant activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine related qualification.
- 2 years Experience in wholesales wine industry.
- Good product knowledge with passion for wine.
- Strong social skills, organization, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal in English. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
- Flexible, process oriented, self-motivated, willing to learn, independent while being a strong multifaceted team player.
