Senior Sales Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

~Our client is an international wine distribution company with offices all around the globe.  They offer a full range of customized services and expert advice from setting-up a collection of the finest wines to enjoying them at their best.

They are seeking an ambitious, independent and pro-active Sales Manager to join their team to cover Hong Kong, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan & Philippines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of staff, including sales, marketing and administration
• Grow client base through networking with High Net-worth clients through private banking or family offices
• Plan and executive tailor-made offers after analysing client needs and motivations
• Management of existing clients around Asia Pacific
• Co-ordinate and supervise the completion of Events
• Work closely with Logistics to ensure timely delivery to clients
• Travel to global office to understand and implement complete practice

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a position where he/she was closing deals
• Very good knowledge of the fine wine industry
• Capacity to manage High Net-worth Individuals coming from all parts of the world.
• A background in consulting, audit, finance or banking would be a plus
• Ability to develop a purchasing strategy based on company values.
• Be very pro-active, dedicated, independent, have a good sense of analysis, adaptable and can multi-task
• Team player and good at communicating both internally and externally.
• Good knowledge of HK and the region in general, especially its codes, clubs, schools, real estate etc.
• Excellent spoken English,
• Be willing to travel frequently.
