Roebuck Estates is a premium producer of exceptional sparkling wines based in West Sussex, in South east England. Launched in 2013, Roebuck Estates is on a mission to become a top 5 English wine company by 2027. English Wine is the fastest growing, most exciting new wine category in the world.  

As part of our export strategy, we have identified Hong Kong as a high potential market and have secured distribution contacts with Watsons Wines for the trade, Ackers Auctions and Phoenix for auction and private client customers. We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to focus on winning new business in the Hong Kong on and off-trade channels, building on associated commercial opportunities and working alongside our distribution partners. In addition, the role will involve working very closely with one of the co-founders of Roebuck Estates who is a very well networked, highly respected, influential figures in Hong Kong.

Your duties will include new business creation, particularly in developing long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships and helping to support trade accounts in channels including but not limited to small hotel groups, premium casual dining and fine dining outlets, independent retail and other partners deemed appropriate for Roebuck Estates' premium brands. All orders will be satisfied by means of transfer order to one or other of our distribution partners. 

Roebuck Estates is at a very exciting time in its development which will present many varied opportunites. This role is full time and will include evening and weekend work. This role is home based, and will report to the CEO of Roebuck Estates. Day to day liason and support is likely to be largely with the co founder based in Hong Kong. 

Regional Account Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic plans to reach sales targets in specific channels.
  • Deliver account management and growth plans across a variety of sectors.
  • Support distribution partners to ensure pull through.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to build brand knowledge and increase customer loyalty.
  • Assist in delivery of creative marketing solutions, tastings, wine training and customer focused marketing events to drive brand engagement.
  • Work with key partners to understand their business needs and goals for strategic partnerships.
  • Create and deliver sales pitches and tender documents where required. (supported by Roebuck marketing department)
  • Provide customer with excellent levels of service and support.
  • Be an ambassador for Roebuck Estates at all times.
  • Report back on an agreed set of KPIS on a monthly basis.


Regional Account Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma (Level 2) Wine and Spirits (WSET) – preferred not essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership and sales skills.
  • Full right to work in Hong Kong
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven track record of developing sales in a region.
  • Experience in managing premium. accounts in both the on & off trade arena
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good knowledge of the region, key accounts, and existing contacts.
  • Strong presentational skills and confident when talking to groups.
  • Outgoing personality with full sales skillset.
