WINES OVERLAND IS SEEKING A

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

 

We are a respected international wine merchant exporting wine to major importers throughout the Asia-Pacific region since 1992. We are a strictly B2B business with customers including leading supermarket chains, specialist wine store groups, importer/distributors and online merchants.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with strong knowledge of wine and the wine business in Asia to join our regional team at our office in Central.

Main duties include:

  • frequent travel to the markets allocated to you, which will include Australia and New Zealand as well as Asian countries
  • identifying and securing new customers
  • maintaining and expanding business with existing customers

 If you fit the following profile, we would like to hear from you:

  • Minimum 6 years global relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in B2B wine sales in Asia ESSENTIAL.
  • Proven track record as successful salesperson in the wine business ESSENTIAL.
  • Fluent English, written & spoken, ESSENTIAL, French and/or Putonghua an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of wine, especially French and Old World wine, ESSENTIAL, WSET  desirable
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on, highly organized.
  • Willing to travel to a range of countries on a regular basis.
  • Candidates must already be based in Hong Kong (this is a local terms contract).
