Our client is a prestigious international winery group with a long-standing tradition in providing quality wines to people around the world. The company has a strong portfolio of luxury wines and a strong reputation among wine-lovers. Being a key leader in the wine industry, it is now looking to further expand their business in the APAC market. The company is looking for a proactive individual with solid wine experience to join their team.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

Reporting to Senior Sales Director, you will lead sales initiatives maximise profits and develop new markets for the company, your responsibilities will include: 
  • Expand and develop new markets and channels in the Asia Pacific and Australian regions
  • Formulate successful sales strategies for winery portfolios to achieve the company targets
  • Build and maintain good relationships with distributors, HoReCa and key channels to ensure effective expansion in the region
  • Monitor and evaluate the sales, distributors and channels performance and implement remedial actions if necessary
IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

You must have minimum 6 years experience in the wine industry. It is a must for you to have a strong, extensive network with distributors, HoReCa and key channels in Asia. A strong knowledge and network in the Korea and Japan market is essential. You should have solid knowledge in wine and demonstrable experience in formulating strategies to drive sales. You should be able to speak English fluently and preferably an Asian Language.
