Job Description:
• Create and update the wine list in coordination with culinary team and Head of Food & Beverage.
• Recommend food and beverage pairings to ensure and enhance member satisfaction.
• Responsible for recommending and advising wine to our members according to their personal wine preferences, taking orders and ensuring wines are served at the right temperature and with the perfect glassware.
• Responsible for selecting wines and managing stock.
• Recognise opportunities to upsell any beverage creating an amazing guest experience.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years as Sommelier in hotels or private clubs.
• WSET 3 qualification or above.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent Wine & Food knowledge and passion.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken English.
• Shift duties required.
