Purpose of the Job

  • The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing brand marketing plans to improve the profitability and volume of the assigned portfolio, driving consumer engagement, distribution and velocity. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal parties (including sales and direct-to-consumer teams) and external parties (including principals and vendors) in developing plans and tools to meet the commercial targets across all channels of the business.


  • Manage brand P&L and oversee A&P budget
  • Develop and execute brand strategy and marketing plan to create demand for assigned portfolios
  • Responsible for portfolio management, business development for new categories & new brands.
  • Recommend brand positioning, distribution, promotional and pricing strategy to optimize the brand exposure and business results
  • Develop, monitor and evaluate marketing activities such as advertising, promotions and events across channels
  • Supervise trade marketing and forecasting process
  • Liaise between the principals and the sales team on ongoing marketing campaigns
  • Partner with and support the sales teams to achieve volume, distribution, velocity and visibility targets
  • Coach and inspire direct reports and develop the team into strong brand management experts 


  • Degree holder, preferably in Marketing and Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 years' working experience with successful track record in designing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Experience in alcoholic beverages or FMCG is preferred
  • WSET qualification will be a plus
  • Brand and consumer centric, strong marketing and innovation background
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data and insights to evaluate and optimize performance
  • Strong ability to influence and build professional relationships
  • Proven leadership and coaching ability to lead a dynamic marketing team
  • Excellent written & oral communication, presentation & interpersonal skill
