Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities


Demand Planning and S&OP Execution

  • Execute the demand planning process to ensure business demands are communicated accurately and timely to stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to align on forecast assumptions and to incorporate business intelligence, commercial strategy and promotion plan into the demand plan as needed

  • Manage statistical forecast in the Demand Planning system with appropriate algorithms or models

  • Conduct Demand Review on a regular basis with Commercial and Finance team

  • Build and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance to understand the demand forecasting drivers

  • Compile and consolidate monthly demand plan for supply planning, financial budgeting and estimates

  • Proactively manage and coordinate day-to-day demand changes to minimise any detrimental impact on the operation, escalate changes as needed

  • Coordinate the execution of the demand plan with Commercial and Customer Services teams, effectively managing exceptions

  • Ensure timely and efficient communication of decisions and follow-ups identified throughout the S&OP processes

  • Manage product life cycle, including new item launch, restage, and end of life planning to ensure all factors are incorporated into demand plan


Forecast Analysis and Reporting


  • Prepare and compile Demand Planning decks to support Demand Review meetings

  • Contribute to the monthly Demand Review and S&OP meeting by providing analytical reports and sharing business insights

  • Prepare and compile forecast analysis and metrics report to measure and track performance, review and interpret data as appropriate

  • Develop and prepare regular or ad hoc tracking, risks and scenario analysis reports to support business decisions

  • Maintain effective demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy



  • Operate as the Super User of the Demand Planning system, provide training and system support to business users

  • Drive collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams to facilitate business delivery

  • Support collaboration with key customers to develop joint-forecasting plans to ensure customer insights are articulated

  • Seek and support continuous improvements in systems and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, cost control and resources optimization

  • Assist in any ad hoc projects or assignments as required


Role Requirements

  • Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines

  • 5+ years relevant working experience in business, demand or supply planning

  • Proven experience in business and demand planning for Asia Pacific markets

  • Solid understanding and exposure in S&OP processes and tools

  • Demonstrated strong aptitude in data analysis, root causes identification and problem solving

  • Ability to comprehend business requirements and translate into tactics to move forward

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
