Fine Wine Manager - Retail (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Our client is a renowned international company with operations across the globe. One of the market leaders within the industry, they are now looking for a talented Retail Fine Wine Manager to join their established and growing team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Head of Asia, the selected candidate will be tasked to drive the direct outbound sales of the company's renowned retail wine business inHong Kong. In addition, you will be:

• Spearheading the direct sales of fine wine to High Net Worth clients through various channels, ensuring company's target goals are met
• Work closely with the marketing team as well as wholesale team to develop new business opportunities and strategies for the retail business
• Provide inventory recommendations through deep understanding of existing wine portfolio and demonstrate a strong knowledge of wine internally and externally to clients
• Act as an Ambassador for the company's wine division, promoting the retail business through social networking, events, exhibitions and functions

• Degree in business or equivalent
• WSET qualified, ideally to advanced certificate level
• Strong knowledge for wine, with a general understanding of classic regions / investment grade wines; strong passion for the industry
• Track record in sales management, overseeing full sales processes (ideally to high net worth individuals)
• Elevated customer service standards, with excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
