Our client has decades of history in offering great wines to prestige clients globally. They are dedicated to finding, selecting and offering mature wines to trade clients (importers, wine merchants and brokers) and private clients. To cope with their expansions in APAC, they are currently looking for a Private Sales Manager to join their Hong Kong office and help setting up a sales team for APAC. about the team. Reporting to the Commercial Director who is based in Hong Kong, you will be developing clientele in Greater China and SEA regions specifically. You are expected to work closely with your counterparts in Paris and Japan on global and regional sales strategies. You will work 5 days a week with occasion travel within the Asia regions when necessary. about the job.
- Develop clientele of fine wines in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and SEA regions
- Develop sales strategies for each region including sales targets, customer service level and overall profits
- Regularly update clients on new product and promote in a way that maximizes exposure for the brand and revenue
- Identify new clients in the market who may be interested in the products. Work in conjunction cross-functionally and develop plans to acquiring and retaining clients
- Run promotional events and organize delivery of wines
skills & experiences required.
- 5+ years of experience in fine wine distribution with a recognized wine importer or retailer
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a MUST
- Proven track record in building French wines clientele base within the APAC region
- Having WSET qualification will be a PLUS
- Strong interpersonal skills who can build strong relationship
- Preferably to already have a strong client base in the region
