The Department

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organisations for a variety of functions.


The Job
You will:

  • Providing customer services by giving the advice about wine selections and promote products to customers in professional skill.
  • To assist in monitoring and evaluating the actual sales performance against target, and followed by actions
  • Managing operating costs at the Wine Shop (including stock management and staff rosters)
  • Assist in coordinating the marketing events and promotional activities (wine tasting, wine dinner and promotional campaign)
  • Provide on-floor support during events and promotional activities
  • Maintain smooth shop operation and tidiness with high quality presentation.
  • Prepare daily reports and handle ad-hoc assignments


About You
You should have:

  • a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in prestigious hotels or restaurants, plus Broad knowledge of tableside service, food, wine, beer, and liquor.
  • Accredited international wine master certification
  • Minimum of Advance WSET and or Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommelier
  • Good knowledge of all products and specifications (vintages, grape varietals, correct blends,
  • pricing).
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts and team members.
