Wine Logistics Coordinator - Luxury (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

PRIMARY FUNCTION/POSITION SUMMARY:

The Logistics Coordinator position is responsible for the organization of inbound and outbound shipping logistics and inventory management for the Hong Kong Wine Department. You will also act as the principal shipping liaison for English, Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking clients for all wine sales worldwide.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Duties include but are not limited to the following):

• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external customers to ensure a smooth logistical arrangement of property, including specialists, clients and the warehouse. 
• Main contact for all inventory and logistics (inbound & outbound) issues for Hong Kong wine. 
• Main contact for post-sale shipping for all wine sales worldwide. 
• Maintain accurate and current inventory listing. Ensure records are updated in both the warehouse and electronically to ensure a flawless tracking system. 
• Conduct semi-annual audits of the warehouse. 
• Provide listings of idled property and initiate contact to clients to arrange shipments. 
• Coordinate local inbound shipments with specialists, clients and the warehouse. 
• Coordinate overseas inbound shipments with the NY and London offices and the warehouse. 
• Receive collection/delivery instructions from buyers and arrange shipments/releases with the warehouse.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary Educated preferably in Logistics 
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience. Previous experience in the shipping industry or sales supporting function is preferred
• Experience in the wine industry or shipping knowledge in wine is preferred
• Independent, self-motivated, meticulous with high attention to detail 
• Organized team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin 
• Good PC knowledge in MS word, Excel, Power Point, Chinese Word Processing
