Buyer (Asia) (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

FINE+RARE is seeking an experienced and commercially savvy Buyer to manage and grow our supplier relationships across Asia. As a key part of our global buying team, you'll play a central role in sourcing fine wine, driving margin growth, and strengthening our supplier network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Asian-based suppliers.

• Lead sourcing initiatives, price negotiations, and allocation opportunities.

• Act as the main liaison between suppliers and internal teams (buying, sales, logistics, brand).

• Plan and execute campaigns including En Primeur and promotional launches.

• Utilise internal systems to track supplier performance and manage product data.

• Leverage insights and analytics to inform buying decisions and identify commercial opportunities.

• Align supplier content with marketing and digital strategies.

• Attend tastings, buying trips, and client visits to deepen supplier engagement.

• Monitor market activity and competitor trends.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven wine buying experience and deep supplier management skills.

• Strong knowledge of the fine wine market and commercial KPIs.

• Proficiency with digital tools, Excel, and ideally buying platforms.

• WSET Level 3 or 4 qualification (or working towards it).

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

• Experience in global team environments and working across time zones.

• A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach.

• Good command of both written and spoken English, as well as Cantonese or Madarin.

• Fluency in French is a strong advantage.
