Our company and its store have been established aiming to introduce brand-new product – Japanese wine; sparkling, white & red wines along with Japan-made table accessories to retail market in Hong Kong, as direct-sales by an importer. This sales position aims to work together to deliver the growth including wholesale, then accordingly to develop to another own form such as a F&B outlet as well as to expand BtoC retail sales aligning with the wine distribution by our own. Fresh graduate & intern are welcome considering candidate’s competency & on-hands experience in related fields.

*** JOB DESCRIPTION ***

We are hiring a Sales Associate for Japanese Wines & related products who performs as a field sales associate to involve in new-established retail business format and for on-site attending customers & visitors in sales of Japanese wines, other country wines & high-end Japan-Made table accessories, furthermore expansion our business to set up our own new F&B and/or sales outlet

*** ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES ***

• Provide service at the store, engaging with customers and visitors, demonstrate sales-lead to achieve revenue target
• Involve in establishment of our own F&B outlet (boutique scale) attaching to our existing retail channel in a future
• Assist in sales arrangements of wholesale, store operation and distribution, maintain, and to grow our on-going retail-business formats and assist the division supervisor for sales & marketing tasks
• Perform to develop in sales to discover clients & accounts
• Work on inventory tasks & stockist operation
• To respond to incoming enquiries
• Maintain the store facility and equipment including routine cleaning and store-stockist recording
• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by superiors from time-to-time

*** REQUIREMENTS ***

• This position is required to work by dual mode – head office (Tsuen Wan) & on-site store within Hong Kong (all public transportation to be paid at actual cost)
• Able to work under pressure to work, with excellent organizational skills including ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines for working in small unit of business to see the growth
• Being coherent to achieve goal/s whilst combining ideas and business plans flexibly for the development
• Tertiary education or equivalent
• 2 years or above experience in F&B, grocery & beverage trading, and/or retail, with Japanese product knowledge is an advantageous plus
• Positive can-do attitude, punctual, responsible, self-motivated, ability to work independently & proactively, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Being enthusiastic, and understanding of our business & products with unique & strong concept are must-have factors to work with us for new business endeavor & its extension
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both spoken and written English & Cantonese; &
• Good command of oral communication in Japanese will be a definite advantage (equiv. to JLPT Level 2 or above will be preferred); &
• Computer-literate especially in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Being familiar with digital marketing tools & apps such as Instagram & Facebook but not limited

• Availability to work on Sat & Sun is mandatory
• Shift-work based on monthly roster throughout week is required
• Store closed (regular day-off) on every Wednesday & all Public Holidays
• 5 day-work per week (9 hour-work with one hour break following designated shift between 09:00 – 24:00, as directed by division superior)
• Candidate/s must be flexible for working in evenings and weekends with notice meeting circumstances of further expansion of the businesses

  *Product training and OJT will be provided
