Meiburg Wine Media is a wine education, marketing, research and media business, headed by the first Master of Wine in Asia, Debra Meiburg. The main activities of the business are wine marketing, consultancy and events, wine education, market research, B2B training, and publication of multimedia educational materials. Supporting activities include print, broadcast and digital media, including a robust social media presence, a range of video production projects and ongoing local and international print media commitments.

 

MWM Wine School, a first class wine education hub directed by Debra Meiburg MW, is a WSET approved program provider. All educators are WSET Diploma and/or Master of Wine holders or candidates, plus visiting international guest lecturers, like winemakers and Masters of Wine. MWM Wine School offers a comprehensive and dynamic Alumni program, perfect for those in the wine industry to widen their network, as well as casual wine lovers seeking to be part of the most exclusive wine circle and events in Hong Kong.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

The Wine School Manager will be responsible for the sales of wine school services.

 

·       Develop prospects & sales channels

·       Generate and follow up leads

·       Consistently work to increase the customer service strategies for the school and help in maximizing the sales opportunities

·       Work with team to design new courses for students

·       Assist in marketing and communication plan for the school

·       Attend classes to develop relations with students and review the class atmosphere and responses

·       Look for opportunities to present wine school in different events/opportunities

·       Organize events to promote sales of wine classes

·       Propose tailor-made offers to specific clients

 

Requirements

• Sales Experience with wine industry or wine services industry highly preferable
• Able to work within a fast paced working environment
• Must have managed a team previously
• Good command of spoken of English and Cantonese, with conversational Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Mature, pleasant, self-motivated, detailed-mind, and able to work independently
• Immediate available is highly preferred
