Job Summary:
  • The Business Development Manager’s primary remit is to generate revenue for Quintessentially via the selling of corporate membership and marketing partnership services to targeted institutions.
  • Through in-depth research, proactively generating leads & networking, the Business Development Manager will act as a Brand Ambassador and initial point of contact for potential corporate ‘bulk selling’ of memberships, white-labeling initiatives and strategic corporate marketing partnerships in Hong Kong.
  • The measurement of success for this role is the revenue generated from acquisition of reactive and proactive corporate clients, and retention and upsell of existing clients for the local office.

IF YOU ARE… AMBITIOUS & DETERMINED TO
  • Drive Corporate Business Development initiatives in Hong Kong, exceeding stipulated sales targets;
  • Proactively identify, call and meet with prospective Corporate Members and follow up accordingly: communicating with them by phone, email and meeting in person;
  • Assist in building a strong sales network in Hong Kong; collecting information from social functions, private events, existing contacts, etc.;
  • Manage the preparation of Corporate Membership presentations with support from the various functional support and leadership teams;
  • Build and manage the Corporate Business Development Pipeline for HK;
  • Liaising with Head of Corporate Business Development in Q Headquarters in London on all initiatives & status reports;
  • Participate in monthly Corporate Business Development Global conference call, providing updates to all other Q offices about corporate deals working on and potentials;
  • Maintain important points of contact with existing corporate members – alongside the Corporate Servicing team;
  • Assist with the organization of events that relate to the corporate customer base;
Other Duties:
  • Exhibiting persistent drive and energy to operate the Corporate Market – with a view to expand into Regional role, depending on performance;
  • Working closely with all Q sister companies based in Hong Kong to share contacts and add value to Q concierge services with their offers and experiences;
  • Communicating leads and opportunities within Q, which will benefit other areas of the operation;
  • Creating and updating Q Sales presentations/templates for further use by all;
  • Promoting the exclusive nature and the up-market image of Q on all appropriate occasions, especially externally, selectively ensuring that focus is maintained on the target market at all times.
Job Requirements:
  • Possess a work background in any of the following sectors/areas:  Sales, Recruitment, Blue Chip Companies (Fortune 500), Customer Service, Lifestyle and or Account Management, Hospitality, luxury travel & leisure.
  • Experienced in handling of executives, senior executives, VIP’s, personalities, celebrities, persons of social standing.
  • Embrace in-depth understanding of requirements involved in the lifestyle management of affluent, high-net worthers.
  • Global contact address book spanning all major industries (HR, PR, Media, Finance, Hospitality & Travel Tourism, Real Estate, Q-worthy suppliers).
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years Corporate Sales experience in particular to the private/retail banking and financial services sector, luxury brands marketing community, and institutions representing HNW and UHNWs.
